Miss Barb
Barb is the owner and an instructor at Fun-N-Fitness.  She has been teaching gymnastics for 22 years.  Barb is a USA Gymnastics member and is certified by USA Gymnastics in Safety/Risk Management.  She has attained USA Gymnastics National Certifications in both the Kinder Accreditation for Teachers (KAT) and Movement Education and Lesson Plan Development (MELPD).  Barb is certified by the Pediatric Training Programs in CPR for adults, children, and infants & AED's for adults, and First Aid.  She has two daughters, both of whom competed in gymnastics up to Level 9.

 

               Miss Paige
Paige is a 2008 graduate of Penn High School.  She assists with our front office duties.  She loves to dance, specifically hip-hop, in her free time.  Paige is certified by the Pediatric Training Programs in CPR for adults, children, and infants & AED's for adults, and First Aid.  Paige will both greet you and be happy to answer any questions for you.  She has been working at Fun-N-Fitness for 4 years.

 

 

 

              Miss Ginny

Ginny is senior at Indiana University at South Bend.  She is pursuing her studies in elementary education.  Ginny was a cheerleader for 4 years at Mishawaka High School.  She taught several children's camps at Mishawaka High School.  She also helps coach cheerleading at St. Bavo grade school.  Ginny is certified by USA Gymnastics in Safety/Risk Management.  Ginny is certified by the Pediatric Training Programs in CPR for adults, children, and infants & AED's for adults, and First Aid.  Ginny's energetic personality is felt by all and she is beginning her 4th year of teaching at Fun-N-Fitness.

                  Miss Lisa

Lisa holds a B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University at South Bend.  She is a former elementary school special needs

assistant as well as a former certified parent educator with an early childhood education program.  Her 3 children have been involved with Fun-N-Fitness for the last 8 years.  Lisa is certified by USA Gymnastics in Safety/Risk Management.  Lisa is certified by the Pediatric Training Programs in CPR for adults, children, and infants & AED's for adults, and First Aid.  She loves working with young children and in addition to teaching at Fun-N-Fitness she is a kindergarten aid.  Lisa begins her 2nd year at Fun-N-Fitness.

                 Miss Sarah

Sarah is a sophomore at Indiana University at South Bend where she is pursuing her studies in elementary and special

education.  She was a gymnast for 10 years, a cheerleader for 4 years, and on the dance team at Mishawaka High School for 4 years.  Sarah worked with children at various camps at Mishawaka High as well as being a cadet teacher for kindergarten and first grade.  Sarah is certified by USA Gymnastics in Safety/Risk Management.  Sarah is certified by the Pediatric Training Programs in CPR  for adults, children, and infants and AED's for adults, and  First Aid.  Sarah loves working with children and begins her 2nd year of teaching at Fun-N-Fitness.

                   Miss Erica

Erica is a senior at Indiana University at South Bend.  She is pursuing her studies in elementary education.  Erica was

a cheerleader at Northwood High School for 4 years.  Erica is certified by USA Gymnastics in Safety/Risk Management.    Erica is certified, through the American Safety & Health Institute, in CPR and AED's for adults, children, and infants along with Standard First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens Training.  Erica is beginning her 2nd year of teaching at Fun-N-Fitness.

                Miss Joy

Joy holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Cortland University in New York and a M.A. in Elementary Education from Ball State University. She currently teaches first grade at Walt Disney Elementary. Joy was a competitive gymnast for 15 years who still loves to tumble. Joy is certified by the Pediatric Training Programs in adult, child, and infant CPR as well as AED's for adults, and First Aid. She loves teaching children inside the classroom and the gym.  After a 2 year break from teaching gymnastics, she is excited to be back teaching at Fun-N-Fitness!
